Overview
This 6-Day Uganda Primates and Wildlife Safari will take you to three of Uganda’s top national
parks, that is, Kibale, Queen Elizabeth, and Bwindi Impenetrable for Gorilla Trekking, Chimpanzee
Tracking , Wildlife game drives, Boat safaris and cultural experience while enjoying scenic
landscapes, boat cruises, and cultural interactions.
It combines the thrilling encounters of mountain gorillas, chimpanzees, elephants, hippos,
leopards, buffaloes and the tree-climbing lions in Queen Elizabeth National Park which is the most
visited park in Uganda for its amazing landscape, crater lakes and a high concentration of wildlife in
Africa around Kazinga Channel.

Itinerary
- Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport or at your hotel, you will meet the company
driver safari guide and begin your scenic drive to Kibale Forest National Park. Enjoy the
countryside views, lush plantations, and crater lakes and you will have lunch enroute in Fort
Portal. - Proceed to Kibale National Park and Bigodi wetland sanctuary. Bogodi is abundant with
butterflies, birds, animals, plants is a home to more elusive animals. - Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport or at your hotel, you will meet the company
driver safari guide and begin your scenic drive to Kibale Forest National Park. Enjoy the
countryside views, lush plantations, and crater lakes and you will have lunch enroute in Fort
Portal. Proceed to Kibale National Park and Bigodi wetland sanctuary. - Bogodi wetland sanctuary is a home to over 200 bird species, including the famous Great
Blue Turaco, African Paradise Flycatcher, Papyrus Gonolek, and White-spotted Flufftail.
There are also various primates species such as Black-and-white colobus monkeys, Red-
tailed monkeys, Red colobus monkeys, L’Hoest monkeys, Vervet monkeys

- After breakfast, head for a briefing and start your Chimpanzee Tracking experience in Kibale
Forest, a home to 13 primate species including red-tailed monkeys, colobus monkeys, and
grey-cheeked mangabeys. - After lunch, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park via the scenic crater lake region which is
about a 3-hours journey. - On reaching the park, connect to your booked lodge for relaxation and dinner.

- A morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park offers one of the most rewarding
wildlife viewing experiences in Uganda like Leopards, African elephants, Ugandan kobs –
the park’s most abundant antelope, Hippos, Buffaloes, warthogs, waterbucks, and
numerous other mammals. - Explore the 4 most famous places in Queen Elizabeth National Park, that is: Kasenyi Plains
– best for lions and large herds of Uganda kobs, Queen’s Mile – great for elephants,
leopards, and exceptional birding, Ishasha Sector – famous for the unique tree-climbing
lions, Mweya Peninsula – good for scenic views and a mix of wildlife habitats. - Explore over 600 bird species, including African fish eagles, grey crowned cranes, and
hornbills. - As the sun rises and the savannah awakens, the park comes alive with incredible sights,
sounds, and activities of the wild. - Early morning hours (6:00 am – 10:00 am) are most ideal because wildlife is most active
before the heat of the day and predators like lions, leopards, and hyenas are often returning
from a night hunt. The clear morning light offers perfect photography opportunities. - Return to the lodge for lunch as you prepare for an afternoon boat cruise at Kazinga
channel. As the boat gently glides along the waters, you are treated to spectacular views of
hundreds of animals lining the banks. Large pods of hippos wallow in the shallow waters
while crocodiles sunbathe lazily along the muddy shores. Elephants, buffaloes, and
antelopes often stroll down to drink, creating iconic photography moments. - Accommodation: Budget/Mid-range/Luxury lodge in Queen Elizabeth National Park.
- After breakfast, we will head south through the Ishasha sector, a famous spot for tree-
climbing lions for an opportunity to see the lions. Lunch is enroute to Bwindi Impenetrable
National Park, home to the mountain gorillas.
- Connect with your lodge for relaxation and dinner.

- The day will start will an early breakfast, then will head to the park headquarters for a
briefing and allocation of gorilla families that will launch you into the unforgettable gorilla
trekking adventure through the foggy forest, guided by experienced rangers. Trekking can
take 2–6 hours depending on the gorilla family location. Spend an hour observing these
gentle giants in their natural habitat. After the trek, receive your gorilla trekking certificate. - Return to your lodge for lunch. Optionally, after lunch, you can go for the Batwa cultural tour
where you will interact with the Batwa people who are believed to be the oldest tribe in
Africa. - Return to your lodge for relaxation and dinner.

- After a relaxed morning breakfast, you will check out of your lodge and embark on journey to
Kampala or Entebbe enroute lunch. Your driver guide will drop you at Entebbe airport for
your departure flight or at any place of your choice.
